The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Dee Shackle with Captive Pin 10mm is a marine grade connector for rigging jobs where rust would chew through plain steel. This is the largest of the three sizes in the range, with a 10mm pin diameter, 35.6mm length and 28.6mm width, and it weighs in at 0.09kg. Grade 316 stainless throughout, polished finish, closed with a screw pin.
The captive pin is the point of difference. It stays in the shackle body rather than dropping out or being backed all the way out, which saves losing pins over the side of a boat or into a paddock. Suited to corrosive marine rigging, food and pharmaceutical processing, agricultural work and shade sails. Take note, this shackle is not to be used for lifting.
