The Beaver G316 Stainless Steel Chain - Long Link 2mm is a general purpose chain for marine and other non lifting jobs where rust is the main enemy. It is made from 316 grade stainless steel, so it holds up in salt air, wash down areas and damp plant rooms that chew through plated chain. At 2mm nominal size it is the lightest option in the range, running 1639m per 100kg.
The long link pattern gives it a 26mm inside length and 8mm inside width, which makes it easy to hook, thread and run over a pin. Handy for barriers, light restraint, gate and hatch work, signage and tie back duties. Keep in mind this is not a lifting chain and carries no working load limit, so it should never be used to sling or suspend a load.
