The Beaver B-Alloy Concrete Lifting Clutch 10t connects to a precast pin cast into concrete panels so crews can lift them clear of the bed and stand them up. It engages while the system is under load, provided it is connected properly, and releases quickly once the panel is landed. This is the 10t working load limit size in the range, sitting at 386mm overall length, 338mm at H and 170mm across C, with an approximate weight of 9.13kg.
Each clutch is marked with the WLL, batch ID, date of manufacture and a unique serial number, and comes with a load test certificate for site records. It complies to AS3850.1. At 9.13kg it is a fair lump to swing around by hand compared with the smaller sizes, so match the clutch to the pin and panel mass rather than defaulting to the heaviest one on the truck. Check the body and jaw for wear and deformation before every shift.
