Beaver Commercial Chain Swivels 8mm

About this product

The Beaver Commercial Chain Swivels 8mm is an eye and eye swivel that lets chain or rope turn freely instead of building up twist. It is a commercial grade fitting, not a lifting component, so keep it out of any load bearing rigging. At 8mm thickness it sits at the lighter end of the range, handy where a smaller chain needs a swivel without adding bulk.

Both ends take a straightforward eye connection, so it drops into an existing run with a connecting link or shackle. The galvanised finish gives it reasonable protection outdoors and around damp yards. Weight is 0.135kg, light enough to hang off gates, signage, dog runs and general chain work. Check the eyes and the swivel action now and then, and replace it once there is wear or the barrel stops turning cleanly.
