The Uvex X-fit Uncorded Earplugs are tapered polyurethane foam plugs for crews working long shifts in high noise. Rated SLC80 26dB Class 5 to AS/NZS 1270:2002, they suit industrial environments up to 110dB assuming an 85dB criterion. The controlled expansion means the foam does not spring back too fast, so you get time to seat the plug properly in the canal.
X-grip technology and the sealed soft PUR surface keep pressure off the sensitive parts of the outer ear, and the smooth skin does not pick up grit the way open foam does. The high visibility colour makes it easy for a supervisor to check compliance across a work area. Attenuation is pitched to cut the noise without isolating the wearer, so site communication stays workable. Good for construction, mining, aviation and manufacturing.
