The 3M Browguard Only With ratchet Headgear is the mounting frame and harness that a face shield visor clips into, sold without the visor so you can pick the lens to suit the job. It weighs 214g and adjusts from 50 to 64 cm, with a ratchet mechanism on the headband to lock the fit and crown adjustment to get the harness sitting right on different head sizes. A terry towelling sweatband handles moisture through a long shift.
The friction pivot lets you lift and lower the visor one handed, and the tilt adjustment means each wearer can set the visor where they want it. The VV997 takes the range of UniSafe visors, so the same browguard covers low through to high impact work. Built from injection moulded nylon and polypropylene with cotton and ester foam, and the gloss finish does not pick up grime as readily. Manufactured to AS/NZS 1337.1:2010.
