About this product
The Uvex Aquarius Safety Glasses in graphite with a red lens are lightweight wraparound eye protection for site work and outdoor jobs. The red lens is the standout in this range, giving you a tinted, high-contrast look that separates it from the clear, grey and blue options while still carrying UV400 protection against UV radiation. The 8 base curved polycarbonate lens wraps close to the face for wide coverage.
Lenses are treated for anti-fog and anti-scratch, so they cope with sweat, heat and the usual knocks in a shirt pocket. The side arms have a rubberised edge and the nose pad is soft, which keeps pressure off your temples and bridge through a long shift. One size fits all, and the graphite frame hides dust and grime better than a lighter frame. Worth a rinse in clean water rather than a dry wipe to keep the coating intact.
Common questions
- what are red lens safety glasses used for
- The red lens gives a tinted, high-contrast view while still providing UV400 protection, so it suits outdoor work and bright conditions where you want something different from a standard grey tint.
- are uvex aquarius safety glasses anti fog
- Yes, the polycarbonate lens has both anti-fog and anti-scratch properties, so it handles sweat, heat and general handling on site.
- do uvex aquarius safety glasses come in different sizes
- No, they are one size fits all. The fit is adjusted by the rubberised edge on the side arms and the soft nose pad rather than by frame size.
