About this product
The Uvex K4 Ear Hi-Vis Ear Muff is a headband earmuff rated SLC80 35 dB, Class 5, for crews working around crushers, compressors and high-noise plant. Attenuation figures are H: 38 dB, M: 33 dB and L: 24 dB, with stronger performance at the high-frequency end where a lot of site noise sits. It meets standard EN 352-1. The yellow shells stay easy to spot in a gear bag or on a hook.
Length adjustment on the headband lets each bloke set the cups where they sit properly, and the padded headband takes the pressure off the top of your head. Extra-soft memory foam cushions mould around the ear, which matters over a full shift rather than a quick ten minutes. The cups are light and compact, so they are less of a nuisance under a hard hat or in tight spaces.
