About this product
The UVEX HexArmor PointGuard Ultra Needle Stick Gloves in size 9 are a hand protection option for crews reaching into places where sharps, wire and high pressure fluid are a real risk. Size 9 suits a larger hand, so you get the layered SuperFabric coverage without the shell bunching across the palm. The 15-gauge hi-vis polyester shell keeps hands visible, and the seamless build means you can still feel fittings and fasteners.
Needlestick 5, ANSI/ISEA Puncture 4 and ANSI/ISEA A9 cut, with EN388:2016 4X43F on the label. Injection resistance runs from .002" to .012" using standard hydraulics, and the glove protects against fluid-injection injuries up to 10.150PSI. Sandy nitrile covers the palm and three-quarter knuckle for grip and abrasion resistance. The knit wrist keeps dirt and debris out. Common work includes water treatment, plumbing, hydraulic maintenance and council parks and gardens.
Common questions
- what size hand does size 9 glove fit
- Size 9 is toward the larger end of the range, which runs S-XL across the five sizes. If your hand sits between sizes, try the fit on the knit wrist and palm coverage before committing.
- are hexarmor pointguard ultra gloves needle proof
- They carry Needlestick 5 along with ANSI/ISEA Puncture 4, which is the highest needlestick and cut resistance available in this style. No glove is fully needle proof, so keep handling practices in place.
- what are pointguard ultra gloves made of
- A 15-gauge hi-vis polyester shell with layered SuperFabric brand material, plus a sandy nitrile coating over the palm and three-quarter knuckle for grip and abrasion resistance.
- what pressure can these gloves handle for hydraulic work
- They give injection resistance from .002" to .012" using standard hydraulics and protect against fluid-injection injuries up to 10.150PSI, which suits hydraulic maintenance and high-pressure fluid work.
