About this product
The 3M Unisafe ABS Type 1 Safety Helmet Vented x Green is a hard hat for crews working construction, mining, oil and gas, and minerals sites. The green shell is handy where your site colour codes helmets by trade, crew or visitor status, so a supervisor can pick out who is who from across the pad. Vent holes in the crown let heat escape, which makes a difference on long Perth summer shifts.
The shell is moulded in ABS plastic and rated Type 1, with a 6 point terylene harness that spreads the load and helps the helmet sit steady on the head. Australian made, and manufactured to AS/NZS 1801:1997. Check the shell for cracks, gouges or chalky patches before each shift, and replace the helmet after any solid impact.
