About this product
The 3M Unisafe ABS Type 1 Safety Helmet Vented x Blue is a hard hat for crews working construction, mining, oil and gas, and minerals sites. The blue shell makes it easy to tell trades or crews apart on site, and the vents help move air on hot days when you are in the helmet for a full shift. ABS plastic shell, Type 1, made in Australia.
Inside is a 6 point terylene harness, which spreads the load and holds the helmet steady on the head. Built to AS/NZS 1801:1997. If you work in an environment where a vented shell is not permitted, the same helmet is available non-vented. Check the shell for cracks, dents or chalky patches before each shift and replace it after any solid knock.
