About this product
The 3M Unisafe ABS Type 1 Safety Helmet Vented x Black is a hard hat for crews working construction, mining, oil and gas, and minerals sites. The vented shell moves air across the top of your head, which makes a difference on long days in the Perth sun compared to the non-vented version. Black also keeps a tidy look on site where crews are colour coded by trade or role.
Shell is ABS plastic, Type 1, so protection is aimed at impact from above. Inside sits a 6 point terylene harness that spreads the load and holds the helmet steady when you are looking up or bending into a job. Australian made and manufactured to AS/NZS 1801:1997. Check the shell for cracks, gouges or chalking before each shift, and replace it after any solid knock.
