The 3M Unisafe ABS Type 1 Safety Helmet in white is an unvented hard hat for crews working under overhead risk on construction, mining, oil and gas, and minerals sites. White is the colour most sites put on supervisors and visitors, so it is the easy pick when you want the wearer identified from across the pad. The unvented shell means no openings through the top, which suits work where splash or spatter from above is a concern.
Shell is ABS plastic, Type 1, made in Australia, and it runs a 6 point terylene harness for a stable fit and load spread across the head. It is manufactured to AS/NZS 1801:1997. If you want a bit more airflow in Perth summer heat, the same helmet comes in a vented version, and the range also covers blue, yellow, orange, green, red and watermelon for colour coding trades or crews.
