The 3M Unisafe Chin Strap keeps a hard hat on your head when you are moving, climbing or working at height. It clips straight onto UniSafe safety helmets using two hooks, so there is no drilling or modifying the shell. Two attachment options are available, one for the TA500 series helmets and one for the TA400 series, so check which lid your crew is wearing before you order.
Adjustment is quick, and it is one size fits all, so the same strap suits every head on site. The strap itself is cotton elastic with ABS hooks, finished in blue with UniSafe branding. Give the elastic and the hooks a quick look over now and then, and replace the strap if the hooks are cracked or the elastic has gone slack.
