About this product
The Beaver Jumbo Round Slings 20t x 8m is a heavy lift sling for crane and rigging work where you need real capacity without marking the load. At 20t working load limit and 8m long, this is one of the bigger sizes in the range, suited to long reaches around large fabrications, vessels and plant items where a shorter sling would choke up.
Construction is a continuous loop of polyester yarn inside a woven sleeve that keeps the filaments parallel and shields them from wear. The core spreads out where it meets the load, so you get broad support, better cushioning and less chance of slipping. Polyester stretches very little, which keeps load bounce down when hoisting serious weight. Manufactured to AS 4497.1, with a test certificate available on request.

- what are Beaver round slings made of
- A continuous loop of polyester yarn encased in a polyester or nylon sleeve. The sleeve holds the internal yarn rows parallel and protects them from damage.

- For finished or fragile surfaces, yes. The yarn core flattens out against the load to cushion it and reduce slipping, where chain can mark or bite into the item.
