The Sundstrom ABEK1 SR297 Gas Filter is a combined gas filter for work around organic, inorganic and acid gases plus ammonia. The ABEK1 class covers vapour from organic gases with a boiling point above +65°C (150F), inorganic gas, acid gas and vapour, and ammonia, so it handles a broad mix of exposures in one filter rather than needing a separate cartridge for each.
Regular capacity, which suits shorter tasks and lower concentrations where a higher class is not called for. Think decanting solvents, acid wash work, refrigeration jobs or anywhere ammonia is in the air. Fit it to a compatible Sundstrom respirator, check the seal before you start, and swap it out once you can taste or smell contaminant getting through.
