About this product
The Sundstrom Gas Filter A1 (SR217) is a screw-in gas and vapour filter for workers dealing with organic solvents on site. It is rated A1, covering organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above +65C, so it suits spray work, degreasing and solvent handling where the air is not immediately dangerous to life.
The filter threads straight into the filter attachment on Sundstrom half and full face masks. If there is dust or mist in the mix as well as vapour, an SR510 particle filter snaps onto the front for combined protection. For powered air work, run two identical A1 filters on the SR500 PAPR using the filter adaptors. Keep spares on hand and swap filters out as soon as you pick up any taste or smell of solvent through the mask.
