The Black Rat 4WD Nylon Heavy Duty Recovery Strap 60t is a snatch strap for pulling a bogged vehicle free using the stretch of the webbing. This is the heaviest option in the range, with a minimum breaking strain of 60t, so it suits larger 4WDs, trucks and loaded utes where the 16,000kg or 30,000kg straps are working too close to the mark.
Built from open weave nylon mesh, 9m x 125mm in a 4ply construction, with a 20% stretch factor that takes the shock out of the pull instead of jolting the recovery points. The eyes are reinforced where wear happens first. At 17.95kg it has real heft to it, which is what you expect from a strap this size. Made to the Consumer Goods (Motor Vehicle Recovery Straps) Safety Standard. Check the webbing and eyes for cuts, abrasion and heat damage before every recovery.
