About this product
The Mongoose D-Lite Shackle 350t is a synthetic recovery shackle for heavy vehicle towing, salvage and snatch work where a steel bow shackle is too heavy to handle safely. At 350t MBL it sits at the top of the D-Lite range, built for prime movers, haul trucks and big recovery jobs. It weighs 30.0kg, roughly half what a comparable steel shackle would, and measures 630mm along the body with a 122mm bow and a 380mm inside length.
A hydrophobic fibre crown holds its strength around tight radius bends, so it works over recovery points and hooks that would chew into a rope. The integrated locking end cap has a 10 degree off-centre loading limit, and high tensile steel alloy pins suit most OEM recovery points. Failure is far less violent than a steel shackle letting go, which matters when crews are working nearby. It drops straight in as a conventional shackle replacement.
