About this product
The Beaver Heavy-Duty Webbing Protective Sleeve 150mm slides over a sling to take the abrasion instead of the sling itself. At 150mm it is one of the wider sizes in the range, sized to suit a 5t flat sling or a 6t and 8t round sling, so it covers the bigger gear you would reach for on heavier lifts. The sleeve is made from heavy duty polyester webbing built for high abrasion work.
Sharp edges, weld spatter and rough steel chew through sling webbing fast. A sleeve over the wear point keeps the sling in service longer and cuts how often you are pulling slings out of the kit. Available sewn or with velcro, and made to custom lengths to match the job. Check the sleeve for cuts and wear each time you rig, same as you would the sling underneath.
