The Beaver Leather Protective Sleeve 150mm slips over a webbing or round sling to take the wear instead of the sling itself. This is the 150mm size in the range, matched to a suit sling diameter of 150mm, which makes it the one to reach for on 5t flat slings and round slings in the 6t and 8t brackets. Natural leather does the work here, giving heat insulation along with enough flexibility and softness to sit around the load without fighting the sling.

Sleeves come in sewn or velcro options, so you can fit them permanently or wrap them on where they are needed. Lengths are made to suit the job. If your slings are getting chewed up on edges, corners or hot steel, a sleeve costs far less than replacing the sling. Check the leather for cuts and heavy abrasion before each lift and reposition it if it has crept along the sling.
