About this product
The Beaver Heavy-Duty Webbing Protective Sleeve 50mm slips over a sling to take the abrasion instead of the sling itself. This is the size that suits a 50mm sling diameter, which covers 1t flat slings and round slings in the 1t and 2t range, so it is the one to grab for lighter rigging jobs rather than the heavier gear in the range.
It is made from heavy duty polyester webbing built for high abrasion work, so sharp-edged steel, concrete and rough castings chew through the sleeve rather than the sling body. Lengths are made to order, and you can have it sewn or fitted with velcro depending on whether you want it fixed in place or repositioned between lifts. Replace the sleeve when it wears through and your sling keeps working.
