About this product
The 3m Skull Screw Uncorded Grey Class 5 27dB Ear Plugs are disposable foam earplugs for high noise work where hands are often dirty. The screw grip and twist design lets you seat the plug by the stem instead of squeezing the foam, so you get a proper seal without pushing grease and dust into your ear canal. The grey metallic look is a small thing, but it helps with compliance among younger crews who will not wear the bright yellow ones.
Tested to AS/NZS 1270:2002, these plugs carry a 26 dB rating, Class 5, and are also rated CSA Class AL. Uncorded suits jobs where a cord would snag on gear or machinery. The stem makes insertion quick, which matters when you are in and out of noisy areas all shift. Roll them in clean hands, twist to seat, and check the seal by cupping your ears.
