Beaver Mega Round Slings 5t x 8m

About this product

The Beaver Mega Round Slings 5t x 8m is a general purpose lifting sling for loads up to 5 tonnes where you need reach and a soft bearing surface. The 8m length gives you plenty of room for basket and choked hitches on tall or wide loads, or for slinging down to a lower level without adding shackles and extra gear. Red coding and the 80mm width make the 5t rating easy to pick out of a pile of slings on the deck.

Construction is a continuous loop of polyester yarn inside a woven polyester or nylon sleeve, which keeps the load bearing filaments parallel and shielded from grit. The core spreads out where it meets the load, cushioning the contact face and cutting down slip. Polyester also stretches very little, so heavy weights lift without bouncing. Manufactured to AS 4497.1, with a test certificate available on request.
