About this product
The Beaver G80 Clevis Shortening Grab Hook with Safety Pin lets you shorten a chain sling leg on the spot without cutting or re-fitting components. The clevis end pins straight onto your Grade 80 chain, and the hook cradles a link so you can take up slack and level an awkward load. The safety pin holds the link in place, so the chain stays seated when tension comes off during a lift.
Made from heat treated alloy steel, the same as the rest of the Beaver Grade 80 range, and built for heavy lifting work on site or underhook. Quality testing is carried out through manufacture, and the component carries identification marks so crews can confirm what they are rigging with. Check the hook, pin and clevis for wear, cracks or stretch before each shift.
