The Maxisafe Class 5 Helmet Earmuff clips straight onto a hard hat so crews working around plant and power tools keep their hearing protection and head protection together. It carries a Class 5 rating with an SLC80 of 27dB, which puts it at the top end for loud sites. Built to AS/NZS 1270:2002.
Cups mount to 25mm and 30mm accessory slots and suit broadbrim helmets, so most site lids are covered. Incremental height adjustment lets each person dial the cups onto their ears properly, because a bad seal means poor attenuation no matter what the rating says. TPU cushions sit comfortably against the skin through a full shift. Handy for mine sites, quarries and civil work where a hard hat is already mandatory and banded earmuffs get in the way.
