The Beaver BV100 G100 Clevis Sling Hook Safety Latch 16mm is the biggest hook in the range, rated to a 10t working load limit on 16mm chain. The clevis pin connects straight onto the chain, so there is no connecting link to fit or keep track of. The latch closes and locks itself once the hook takes load, so it will not spring open mid lift. Overall length is 248mm with a 19.5mm pin diameter, and it weighs around 3.6kg.
Made from heat treated alloy steel, it holds up well to wear on sites where chain gear gets a hard time. Grade 100 gives you 25% more load capacity than Grade 80 at 30% less weight, which matters on a four leg set at this size. Each hook carries identification markings and complies to AS 3776.
