The Beaver BV100 G100 Clevis SlingHook Safety Latch 13mm is the hook you fit to 13mm Grade 100 chain, rated to a 6.7t working load limit. That makes it the heavy end of the range, suited to bigger single and multi-leg chain slings on crane and mine site work. The clevis connects straight onto the chain, so you skip the connecting link. The latch closes and locks itself once the hook takes load, so it won't spring open mid-lift.
Made from heat treated alloy steel, with marks stamped on it for identification in the yard. It measures 203mm long overall with a 37mm opening and a 15.8mm pin, and weighs about 2.3kg, roughly 30% lighter than the Grade 80 equivalent at 25% more capacity. Complies to AS 3776. If the latch gets knocked about, replacement trigger kit RCSLKBV10013MM suits this size.
