The Beaver BV100 G100 Clevis SlingHook Safety Latch in 8mm is the hook you fit to the leg end of a Grade 100 chain sling, rated at 2.5t working load limit. It is the smallest size in the range, which makes it the pick for lighter single and multi-leg assemblies where 8mm chain is doing the work. The clevis mouth takes the chain directly, so there is no connecting link to add. At 0.6kg, 134mm long and with a 9.8mm clevis pin, it keeps the leg end tidy.

Made from heat treated alloy steel, with the wear resistance that comes with it, and marked for identification. The latch closes and locks on its own once the hook is loaded, so it will not spring open mid lift. Grade 100 carries 25% more load than Grade 80 at the same size, with around 30% less weight. Complies to AS 3776. If the latch gets knocked about, the replacement trigger kit RCSLKBV1008MM suits this size.
