About this product
The Beaver BV100 G100 Clevis Grab Hook 8mm is used to shorten a leg of 8mm Grade 100 chain without dropping the rated capacity. It carries a 2.5t working load limit, the smallest of the four sizes in the range, so it suits lighter chain slings where you still want full Grade 100 performance. The clevis pin connects straight onto the chain, no connecting link needed.
Supporting lugs sit either side of the throat to stop the link deforming when the hook takes load, and the safety latch closes and locks on its own. Made from heat treated alloy steel with marks for identification, it complies to AS 3776. Grade 100 gives 25% more load capacity and 30% less weight than Grade 80, with no deration. Overall length is 93mm and it weighs about 0.34kg.
