About this product
The Beaver BV100 G100 Clevis Grab Hook 13mm is the shortening hook you reach for when a Grade 100 chain sling needs to be pulled up to length on the job. It takes 13mm chain and carries a working load limit of 6.7t. The clevis pin connects straight onto the chain, so there is no connecting link to fit. Supporting lugs sit either side of the seat to stop the link deforming as load comes on, and the safety latch closes and locks itself.
Made from heat treated alloy steel, with marks stamped on for identification during inspection. Grade 100 gives you 25% more capacity than Grade 80 at around 30% less weight, with no deration. At 166mm long and roughly 1.75kg, this 13mm size sits in the middle of the heavier end of the range and suits general heavy lifting on cranes and mine site gear. Complies to AS 3776.
