About this product
The Black Rat Grunt 12V Air Compressor is a twin cylinder 12V unit for airing up 4WD and light truck tyres out on the tracks or on site. It pushes air flow of 84 L/min and runs up to a maximum 150 PSI, so big tyres come back up without a long wait. Power comes off the vehicle battery through a 2.4m cord with battery clips, drawing 30 amps.
You get a 5m PU hose to reach all four corners without shifting the compressor, plus a pressure gauge to check as you go. Duty cycle is 40 minutes at 40psi and 24°C, which covers a full set in one go. At 4.5kg it lives easily in the back of a ute or wagon, and the canvas carry bag keeps the hose and clips together.
