About this product
The Beaver 4-Ply Flat Sling 20t x 6m is a polyester webbing sling built for heavy lifts where you don't want to mark the load. Four plies give it a 20t working load limit, and the 6m length gives you enough reach for a decent choke or basket hitch on bigger gear without running out of sling. Continuous polyester webbing with a sewn eye at each end.
Flat webbing spreads the load over a broad bearing area, which cushions the surface and cuts down slipping compared to a rope or chain bite. Polyester has low stretch too, so you get less load bounce when you're hoisting serious weight. It stays light and flexible in the hand, easy to rig by yourself and easy to inspect before every lift. If 6m is more than you need, the shorter size in the range covers tighter work.
Common questions
- what is the WLL of the Beaver 4 ply flat sling 20t x 6m
- The working load limit is 20t. The four-ply construction is what carries that rating over the 6m length.
- what are beaver flat slings made of
- Polyester webbing, sewn into a continuous length with an eye at each end.
- flat sling vs chain sling for lifting painted or finished loads
- A flat sling spreads the load over a wide area of webbing, so it cushions the surface rather than biting into it. Chain gives you a hard point of contact, so webbing is the better pick when you don't want to damage the load.
