About this product
The Beaver 4-Ply Flat Sling 16t x 8m is a polyester webbing sling for general lifting where you want load protection and a decent amount of reach. The 8m length is the longer option in the range, so it suits deeper chokes, taller loads and bigger spreads between crane hook and lifting points. Four plies of webbing carry the 16t working load limit while keeping the sling light enough to handle by hand.
Construction is polyester webbing sewn into a continuous length with an eye at each end. The flat face spreads contact across a broad area, which cushions the load and cuts down on slipping. Polyester stretches very little under load, so you avoid load bounce when hoisting heavy weights. Flexible enough to lay flat around awkward shapes, and far easier to move around site than chain of the same rating.
