About this product
The Beaver Double-Ply Flat Sling 4t x 4m is a polyester webbing sling with a sewn eye at each end, built for everyday lifting where you don't want to mark the load. The 4m length gives you enough reach for a decent choke or basket hitch on medium gear, and the 4t working load limit covers a lot of common site and workshop lifts.
Polyester webbing spreads the load across a broad contact area, so it cushions edges and helps stop the sling slipping under tension. Low stretch in the webbing keeps load bounce down when you're hoisting heavy. It's light, it packs away easily, and a rigger can sling a job solo without dragging chain around. Check the webbing for cuts, abrasion and heat damage before every lift.
Common questions
- what is the WLL of the beaver 4t flat sling
- The working load limit is 4t. Your actual capacity on the day depends on the hitch and angle you rig it at.
- what are beaver flat slings made of
- Polyester webbing, double-ply, sewn into a continuous length with an eye at each end.
- flat sling vs chain sling which is better
- A flat sling is lighter and more flexible, and the wide webbing cushions the load instead of marking it. Chain handles heat and sharp edges better, so pick based on the load surface.
