About this product
The Beaver Double-Ply Flat Sling 4t x 3m is a polyester webbing sling for general lifting where you don't want to mark the load. It carries a 4t working load limit and measures 3m in length, which gives you enough reach for a choke or basket hitch around drums, fabricated steel and machinery without running out of sling. Double-ply construction, sewn into a continuous length with an eye at each end.
The flat webbing spreads across a wide area, so it cushions the load and helps stop it sliding. Polyester has low stretch, which keeps load bounce down when you're hoisting heavy weights. It's light, it packs away easily and it'll fold into places a chain sling won't. Check the full length of the webbing and both eyes for cuts, abrasion and heat damage before every lift.
Common questions
- what is the WLL of the Beaver 4t flat sling
- The working load limit is 4t. That figure applies to the sling as rated, and the hitch you choose will affect the load it can safely take.
- what are Beaver flat slings made from
- Polyester webbing, sewn into a continuous length with an eye at each end. This one is double-ply.
- flat webbing sling vs chain sling which is better
- A flat sling is lighter, more flexible and softer on the load, so it suits finished or coated surfaces. Chain handles heat and sharp edges better.
- how long is the 4t x 3m Beaver flat sling
- 3m in length, measured as the sling length, which gives good reach for basket and choke hitches on larger loads.
