About this product
The Beaver Double-Ply Flat Sling 2t x 8m is a polyester webbing sling for general lifting where you need reach without marking the load. At 8m it suits deep chokes, taller loads and bigger diameters, while the 2t working load limit covers the lighter end of most crane and forklift work. Each sling is sewn into a continuous length with an eye at either end.
Flat webbing spreads the load across a broad contact area, so it cushions finished surfaces and helps stop the sling slipping around the lift. Polyester has low stretch, which keeps load bounce down when you hoist. The sling is light and flexible enough to pack into a toolbox or sling bag, then flake out flat under the load. Check the webbing for cuts, abrasion and heat damage before every lift.
Common questions
- what is the WLL of the Beaver 2t x 8m flat sling

- what are Beaver flat slings made of
- They are made from polyester webbing sewn into a continuous length with an eye at each end.
- why choose an 8m flat sling over a shorter one
- The 8m length gives you extra reach for tall or large diameter loads and deeper choke hitches, where a shorter sling would not wrap around.
