About this product
The Beaver Double-Ply Flat Sling 1t x 8m is a polyester webbing sling for lifting loads up to 1t without marking the surface. At 8m long, it gives you plenty of reach for choking around tall or awkward items, or for basket hitches where the hook sits well above the load. Two plies of webbing sewn into a continuous length with an eye at each end.
The flat face spreads the load across a wide contact area, so it cushions finished surfaces and helps stop the sling slipping under tension. Polyester has low stretch, which keeps load bounce down when you are hoisting heavy gear. Light in the hand and easy to pack away, it beats chain for anything you do not want scratched.
Common questions
- what can a 1t x 8m flat sling lift
- It has a working load limit of 1t. Remember your hitch and sling angle change the rated capacity, so work to your lift plan.
- what are beaver flat slings made from
- Polyester webbing, sewn into a continuous length with an eye at each end. This variant is double-ply.
- flat sling or chain sling for lifting machined parts
- A flat sling is the better pick where you do not want to damage the load. The wide webbing face cushions the surface and reduces slipping, and it is far lighter to handle than chain.
