About this product
The Beaver Double-Ply Flat Sling 1t x 1m is a polyester webbing sling for lifting loads without marking them up. At 1m long with a 1t working load limit, it is the short end of the range, handy for tight headroom, small chokes and quick basket hitches where a longer sling would just bunch up. Light enough to carry a few in the ute without thinking about it.
The webbing is sewn into a continuous length with an eye at each end, so it lies flat and spreads the load across a wide contact area. That cushions finished surfaces and helps stop the sling slipping under load. Polyester has low stretch, which keeps load bounce down when you are hoisting heavy gear. Check the webbing for cuts, abrasion and heat damage before every lift.
Common questions
- what is the WLL of a 1t x 1m beaver flat sling
- The working load limit is 1t. The sling is 1m long from eye to eye.
- what are beaver flat slings made of
- Polyester webbing, sewn into a continuous length with an eye at each end. This variant is double-ply.
- flat sling vs chain sling for lifting painted steel
- A flat webbing sling spreads the load over a broad area and cushions the surface, so it is the better pick where chain would gouge or mark the load.
