About this product
The Beaver Double-Ply Flat Sling 10t x 4m is a polyester webbing sling for heavy lifts where you don't want to mark the load. At a 10t working load limit, it sits at the heavier end of the range, and the 4m length gives you enough reach for choking around big sections or slinging wider loads without running out of sling.
It's made from polyester webbing sewn into a continuous length with an eye at each end. The double-ply build is light and flexible to handle, and the flat face spreads contact across a broad area, cushioning the load and cutting down on slipping. Polyester also stretches very little, so you get less load bounce when you're hoisting serious weight. Easy to fold up and stow when the lift is done.
Common questions
- what is the WLL of a beaver 10t flat sling
- This sling has a working load limit of 10t. Always check the label is legible and match the rating to your lift configuration.
- what are beaver flat slings made of
- They're made from polyester webbing, sewn into a continuous length with an eye at each end. Polyester has low stretch, which helps prevent load bounce on heavy lifts.
- flat sling vs chain sling for lifting painted steel
- A flat webbing sling is the gentler option. It covers a broad support area that cushions the load against damage and reduces slipping, and it's far lighter to handle than chain.
- how long is a 4m flat sling when choked
- The sling is 4m long overall, eye to eye. Choking will reduce your effective reach, so pick the length to suit how you're rigging the load.
