About this product
The Beaver Single-Ply Flat Sling 3t x 3m is a polyester webbing sling for everyday lifting where you don't want to mark the load. The 3m length gives you enough drop for choking around drums, beams and packs without doubling back on yourself, while the 3t working load limit covers most general site and workshop lifts. Webbing is sewn into a continuous length with an eye at each end.
Flat webbing spreads the load over a broad contact area, so it cushions finished surfaces and helps stop the sling slipping under tension. Polyester has low stretch, which keeps load bounce down when you're hoisting heavy weights. It is light, packs away easily and can be thrown over a shoulder, a fair bit kinder on the crew than chain at the same rating.
Common questions
- what is the WLL of a 3t x 3m flat sling
- This one has a working load limit of 3t. That figure applies in a straight vertical lift, so factor in your rigging configuration.
- what are Beaver flat slings made of
- Polyester webbing, sewn into a continuous length with an eye at each end.
- why use a webbing sling instead of chain
- Webbing is far lighter and more flexible to handle, and the broad flat face cushions the load rather than digging into it.
