About this product
The Beaver Single-Ply Flat Sling 1t x 4m is a polyester webbing sling for everyday lifting where you don't want to mark the load. The 4m length gives you enough reach for a decent choke or basket hitch around taller or wider items, while the 1t working load limit keeps it in the light end of the yard. Webbing is sewn into a continuous length with an eye at each end.
Flat webbing spreads the load across a broad face, so it cushions painted and finished surfaces and helps stop the sling sliding off. Polyester has low stretch, which keeps load bounce out of the lift when you take the weight on the hook. It is light, it packs down soft, and a rigger can sling it over a shoulder and walk it out to the job.
Common questions
- what is the WLL of a 1t x 4m flat sling
- The working load limit is 1t. The 4m figure is the sling length, not a capacity.
- what are Beaver flat slings made of
- Polyester webbing, sewn into a continuous length with an eye at each end.
- flat sling or round sling for lifting painted steel
- A flat sling like this one lays across a wider support area, so it cushions the surface and is less likely to slip than a narrower contact point.
