About this product
Frontier Disposable Corded Earplugs Yellow x Class 5 are single-use foam plugs for high noise work, rated for levels up to 112 dB(A). Class 5 with an SLC80 of 27 dB puts these at the top end of the range, so they suit the loud stuff like crushers, compressors and jackhammer work rather than light general noise. The cord keeps the pair together around the neck when crews step out of the noise zone.
The plug body is soft PU memory foam, so it expands to the shape of the ear canal and stays comfortable through a full shift. Hi vis yellow makes it easy for a supervisor to see who has their hearing protection in from a distance. Made to AS/NZS 1270:2002. Once they are dirty or lose their spring, bin them and grab a fresh pair.
