About this product
The Frontier Mercury 33cm Glove in green, size medium, is a flocklined nitrile chemical glove for handling solvents and wet work without losing grip. The medium sizing suits an average hand, so you get the dexterity for decanting, spraying and parts cleaning while the 33cm length keeps coverage well up the forearm. The textured palm holds onto tools and containers whether they are wet or dry, and the flocklining makes long stints more comfortable than a bare nitrile liner.
Nitrile gives chemical and solvent resistance, which is why these turn up in chemical transport and processing, painting, printing, metal fabrication and industrial cleaning. Rated EN 388 4101 and EN 374-3 AJK, Cat III 0883. Check the size before you order. A glove that is too tight tires the hand out, too loose and you lose feel on small fittings. Rinse and dry them after contact with chemicals, and replace any glove that shows swelling, splits or a soft, tacky feel.
Common questions
- what size hand does the medium Frontier Mercury glove fit
- Medium suits an average hand and is one of five sizes in the Frontier Mercury 33cm range. Go up a size if you want it looser over a liner, or down for finer work.
- are Frontier Mercury 33cm gloves chemical resistant
- Yes, they are nitrile and rated chemical and solvent resistant, with EN 374-3 AJK and Cat III 0883 listed. They are used in chemical transport and processing, painting and industrial cleaning.
- why is the Mercury glove 33cm long
- The 33cm length carries protection past the wrist and up the forearm, which helps when you are reaching into drums, tanks or wash bays.
