The Frontier Metal Detectable Ear Plugs in dark blue are disposable foam plugs built for sites where a dropped plug has to be found before it ends up somewhere it shouldn't. This is the Class 5 version, rated SLC80 27dB, so it's the higher attenuation option in the range and suits loud general industry work rather than light noise. The metal element inside is picked up by standard metal detection systems on the line.
Soft PU memory foam rolls down small, then expands in the canal to seal without pressing hard, which matters on a full shift. The dark blue colour stands out against food, product and light-coloured surfaces if one goes astray. Tested to AS/NZS 1270:2002. Roll, insert and hold, then bin them at the end of the day and start fresh with a clean pair.
