The Ergodyne Chill-Its Evaporative FR Cooling Tie Bandana is a flame resistant headband that keeps your head cool without giving up FR protection. Soak it in cold water for 2 to 5 minutes and the acrylic polymers inside swell up and hold moisture, staying hydrated for up to 4 hours. The fabric is a modacrylic cotton blend that meets ASTM F1506 performance requirements and ASTM F2302 for flame resistance.
Handy for anyone working hot where FR gear is mandatory, so petrochemical work, utility crews, electrical work, iron and steel fabrication, and general construction and maintenance. The tie closure lets you set the fit yourself and it is one size fits all. Lightweight enough to sit under a hard hat all day. Available in lime and blue.
