The Ergodyne Chill-Its Phase Change Cooling Vest Extender adds 3.5 in/9cm of stretch to a Chill-Its cooling vest so it fits bigger frames or sits comfortably over bulky layers. It is made from 100% elastic with hook and loop ends, so it clips straight onto the vest without tools or modification. One size fits all, in orange.
Handy if a vest is pulling tight across the chest or riding up when you bend and reach. The elastic gives a bit of movement rather than holding you rigid. Common on jobs where heat load is the problem, including iron and steel fabrication, construction, refineries, foundries, utilities, vulcanizing, pulp and paper, hazmat and fire, rescue and EMT work. Keep one with the vest so the fit can be sorted on the spot.
