The Ergodyne Chill-Its FR Phase Change Cooling Vest with Pack in orange, size L/XL, keeps body temperature down in hot work without needing any airflow. The packs hold a constant 18C (64F) for up to four hours once activated, then recharge in as little as 10 minutes, so a spare set keeps a crew going through a shift. The L/XL cut suits larger frames and layering over work gear, with hook and loop adjustment at both shoulders and the waist to pull the fit in where you need it.
Made from a modacrylic cotton blend FR fabric with hi-vis reflective striping, it works around ignition risk and traffic alike. The fabric meets ASTM F1506 per NFPA 70E (CAT 1). Extended surface area across the vest gives more cooling contact, and two pen slots sit on the right side. It is machine washable. Common on refineries, foundries, vulcanising, hazmat and construction work.
