The Ergodyne Chill-Its Evaporative FR Cooling Triangle Hat is a tie-closure head cover that keeps your head cool under a hard hat or on its own while you work in the heat. It is made from a modacrylic cotton blend FR fabric, and that fabric meets ASTM F1506 performance requirements, so it suits blokes working around steel fabrication, welding bays and other jobs where flame resistance matters.
Inside the fabric are lightweight cooling acrylic polymers. Soak the hat in cold water for two to five minutes to activate them, and it stays hydrated for up to four hours. When it dries out, re-wet it and carry on. This one is blue and comes in one size fits all, with the tie closure letting you set the fit yourself. Handy for construction, trades, maintenance, grounds work and material handling.
