The Ergodyne Chill-Its Evaporative Cooling Vest in lime, size Extra Large, is a soak-and-wear vest that keeps body temperature down through a long shift in the heat. Extra Large suits bigger builds and leaves room to sit over a shirt without pulling across the chest, sitting between the Large and 2XL in the range. Soak it in cold water for 2 to 5 minutes and the polymer-embedded fabric inside activates, holding cool for up to 4 hours.
The quilted nylon outer layer takes knocks, while the water repellent liner keeps the wet side off your shirt. Mesh side panels add ventilation and a bit of stretch, and the black cotton-poly elastic trim holds the shape. V-neck with a zip closure, so it goes on and off quickly at smoko.
